Through the generous sponsorship of MLA Ken Vowels, we have introduced yoga as a strategy to reduce and prevent injury. It is suitable for men and women of all ages, ability and flexibility. Sessions are held on Wednesday nights.
Location: Millner School Oval (weather dependant)
Start time: Every Wednesday 5.55pm for 6pm start.
Finish time: 7.15pm. This includes a short meditation/relaxation at the end – so you can sneak away early if you need to.
Bring: Yoga mat, water and towel (We have some pilates mats available that can be used if necessary)
Cost: Members $2, including Social Members.
Non-members (i.e. family of members) $5.
Please note, as this is a new initiative we are keen to get feedback and will be learning as we go. We are not certain what numbers to expect and while our primary target for participation are members that play hockey, we welcome family members of players. As we learn more, we may need to adjust the format, eligibility for access and any other aspect of the initiative.
